Ancient Gardens

Ancient Gardens is the first world in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. It is a grassland and jungle area located to the east of Sherbet Desert, consisting of many flowers, water streams, immobilized Goombas, and a towering block structure.
History
Mario and co. first land in Ancient Gardens just after the SupaMerge headset merges with Spawny. They venture through the grassland area and get past the Sunflower before they reach Peach's Castle. After briefly reconciling with Princess Peach, Mario and co. take a cannon to enter the jungle area of Ancient Gardens, where they find and defeat Pirabbid Plant and recruit Luigi. As Mario and co. exit the jungle area and enter the base of the block tower, they encounter Toad, who warns them of an enemy on the tower. Mario and co. manage to make it to the top of the tower, where they encouter Bowser Jr., who takes Spawny and uses him to create Rabbid Kong. After defeating Rabbid Kong, Beep-0 reports that Bowser Jr. had fled to Sherbet Desert, thus revealing their next destination.

Blizzy

Blizzy is one of two midbosses of Sherbet Desert in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. As her name suggests, she is a Rabbid fused with a flurry, with three icy orbs circling her. She is fought alongside her stronger ally, Sandy.

Blizzy's only actual damaging attack consists of shooting a single beam from her orbs. She also has an indefinite "line of sight" technique that allows her to shoot characters before her turn begins. If Sandy is defeated, Blizzy will continue fighting until she is defeated.

Brother, Where Art Thou?

Brother, Where Art Thou? is the fifth level of Ancient Gardens in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. Its name is a reference to the film O Brother, Where Art Thou?. Completing this level unlocks Luigi as a playable character.
Layout
Before the level begins, Mario hears Luigi's screams, and decides to investigate.

The first part of the level introduces the knowledge of damage bonuses from attacking at a greater height. It has a small pond near the center, with two Ziggies and two Hoppers guarding it. Another Ziggy can be found on higher ground, near a dropoff zone.

The next part of the level features Pirabbid Plant, the first boss of the game. This arena is symmetrical, having two higher platforms on each side. There are also Burn and Push covers found here, and a total of four Ziggies: two beside Pirabbid Plant, and two behind some Push covers on opposing high platforms.

Once Pirabbid Plant is defeated, Luigi joins Mario's team.

Buckler

Bucklers are Rabbid enemies in Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle. They are large Rabbids that carry shields and machine guns. These guns fire in a cone-shaped arc, doing increasing damage based on how close their targets are. Their shots are capable of destroying Giant Brick Blocks and inflicting status effects. Their shields protect them from frontal weapon attacks, forcing the heroes to attack from their unprotected sides and back; alternatively, they can bypass the shield with dashes, Team Jumps, and splash damage attacks. Bucklers can also use an ability similar to Yoshi's Super Chance, giving themselves and nearby allies an aura that guarantees a critical hit on their next attack.
Variants
There are three Buckler variants, one for each area apart from Ancient Gardens. As an exception, several Sherbet Bucklers do appear in Challenge 8 of said world and there are Tropical Variants In the Donkey Kong Adventure DLC.
*Sherbet Buckler: Encountered in Sherbet Desert, this Buckler has 195 HP. Its gun, shield, and scarf are green with darker stripes.
*Spooky Buckler: Encountered in Spooky Trails, this 295 HP Buckler appears to be undead, with a pale body, glowing blue eyes, and black accessories.
*Lava Buckler: The final Buckler variant is encountered in the Lava Pits, with a charred appearance, glowing orange eyes, orange accessories including a Bowser Jr. scarf, and 445 HP.
* Tropical Buckler: The Buckler variant for Donkey Kong Adventure. It wears a feathered headdress resembling a skull and shoulder plate resembling bones, and 170 HP. They can be encountered before their actual introduction in Sherbet Desert. The major difference is that instead of Super Chance, they have the technique of Protection, shared with Valkyries and Princess Peach, reducing damage dealt to nearby enemies through partial absorption.

Bwaluigi

Bwaluigi is a notable enemy in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. As his name suggests, he is similar to Waluigi, with similar height, cap, and clothes. His artwork depicts him with bright blue overalls; however, in the game itself he wears the proper blackish blue-colored overalls.

Bwaluigi appears in the Lava Pits, apparently summoned by the MegaBug to stop the heroes' advance on Bowser's Castle. He is fought twice; the first time alongside his weaker ally Bwario, and the second time alongside both Bwario and the Lava Queen.

Bwaluigi behaves much like a Smasher; charging at the heroes (both on his turn and after being attacked with ranged weapons) in an attempt to hit them with the large red pipe he uses as a bludgeon. In addition to significantly more HP than most enemies (and even some bosses), he can use Magnet Dance to force characters towards him, possibly making them vulnerable to attack. He and all of his allies must be defeated to claim victory.

Bwario

Bwario is a notable enemy in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. As his name suggests, he is similar to Wario, with his signature moustache, cap, and clothes; unlike Wario, however, he is quite small.
Bwario appears in the Lava Pits, summoned by the MegaBug to stop the heroes from reaching Bowser's Castle. He is fought twice in the game; the first time alongside his stronger ally Bwaluigi, and the second time alongside both Bwaluigi and the Lava Queen.
Bwario behaves similarly to a Valkyrie. He has significantly less HP than Bwaluigi, but attacks at range with a machine gun seemingly built out of green pipes. He can also activate a "line of sight" technique to hit heroes as they move, which works nicely with Bwaluigi and Lava Queen's forced movement abilities. His team jumps also produce close-range shockwaves upon landing, seemingly by smashing the ground with his gun. He and all of his allies must be defeated in order to claim victory.

Calavera

Calavera (Spanish for "skull") is the midboss of Spooky Trails in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. As his name suggests, he is an undead Rabbid with Day of the Dead attire, including an old top hat and an elaborate skull tattoo on the back of his head. He sits within a large, dilapidated wooden coffin, threaded with large, spiked vines that act as limbs. One vine carries Rabbid Yoshi for use as a weapon, while another holds the coffin lid as a shield.

Calavera acts much like a Buckler, with his shield making him immune to weapon attacks from the front. His main attack involves shooting bombs at characters, which destroy any Giant Brick Blocks caught in the blast, but he can also force characters to move away from him with a massive scream. Altogether, he makes it difficult for the heroes to stay in cover, which can leave them vulnerable to Calavera or his backup, which includes Spooky Ziggies, Smashers, and Peek-a-Boos.

When defeated, Calavera falls into a nearby well, and Rabbid Yoshi shoots him repeatedly.

Instead of Dash attacks, they can increase their movement range with Team Jumps, using the springs on their feet to bounce off of their allies' heads. All variants except the Garden Hopper can deploy a protective shield that negates the damage (but not the Super Effects) of one attack; additionally, they can perform up to two Team Jumps per turn if their allies are in range.
Variants
There are four Hopper variants, one for each area.(Five if you count the Tropical Hopper)

*Lava Hopper: The final Hopper variant is encountered in the Lava Pits, with a charred appearance, a gas mask, a Bowser Jr. bandanna worn like a cape, and 310 HP. It has wrist guns resembling Bowser's spiked bracelets, which can inflict Burn on contact.
* Tropical Hopper: This Hopper variant from Donkey Kong Adventure wears a coconut-made mask with tropical leaves, and has 110 HP. Its wrist guns seem to be made of coconuts, which can inflict the Bounce Effect. It can also inflict the Vamp Super Effect on anyone within their landing area when performing a Team jump (similar to the Valkyrie's Ground Pound).

Icicle Golem

The Icicle Golem is the boss of Sherbet Desert in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. He is a Rabbid fused with the contents of a giant refrigerator, when Spawny fell into the latter and involuntarily used his powers.
Battle
Immediately prior to the boss battle, the Icicle Golem freezes Mario and his allies in blocks of ice. Princess Peach arrives and frees two of the heroes (Mario and whichever Rabbid hero is in the second team slot), but the Icicle Golem throws the third character into its fridge before they can be defrosted; thus, Peach herself rounds out the party for the boss battle.

Initially, the Icicle Golem uses a refrigerator door as a shield - much like a Buckler, this renders him immune to frontal assault. He fires blasts of ice from his cannon-like right arm; like a Blastgun, this hits a cone-shaped area around his main target, hitting everyone in range for 30 HP and a high chance of being Frozen. The heroes must work together to flank the boss and hit him from his vulnerable sides and back, slowly depleting his HP.

In the second phase, the Icicle Golem loses his shield, but gains a close-range fist pound attack that deducts 70 HP from the targeted character and 35 HP from everyone within a square or two of the impact point. It also begins using a "line of sight" technique that allows it to attack heroes moving within its vision range on their turn. At the end of the boss's first turn in this phase, a pair of Sherbet Smashers spawn on either side of the arena. Mario and his allies must manage the new enemies along with the main boss as they wear down its HP a second time.

In the third phase, the Icicle Golem's legs melt off as it crawls to the far end of the arena, where it remains for the rest of the battle. It continues using its old attacks, but its "line of sight" counterattack can be activated much more frequently. It also gains a pair of Sherbet Supporters at the end of its first turn; the Rabbids appear on either side of the Golem, and should be dealt with quickly to prevent them from disrupting the party and healing the boss.

Once its HP is depleted for the third time, the Icicle Golem's body will collapse, leaving its head on the ground. The head no longer attacks or moves; all the heroes have to do is hit it with a dash attack to knock off its lower jaw and end the battle. In the post-battle cutscene, the Rabbid member of the party(usually Rabbid Peach) picks up the boss's head, plays with it for a moment in a manner similar to a scene from Willaim Shakespeare's Hamlet), then sets it down for Peach to kick back into the giant refrigerator from whence it came, freeing the trapped member of the party in the process.

Lava Pits

The Lava Pits is the fourth and final world in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. It is a volcanic area located to the west of Spooky Trails, consisting of many lava pools, mine cart tracks, a mecha-producing factory, and Bowser's Castle.
History
Mario and co. first land in the Lava Pits while pursuing Bowser Jr. and Spawny and attempting to directly stop the vortex. After exiting a mine, Mario and co. then fight Mecha Jr. and free Spawny, while Yoshi joins shortly thereafter. Venturing into the deeper part of the lava pools, they encounter the physical Megabug, which immediately captures Spawny and creates Bwario, Bwaluigi, and the Lava Queen. After defeating the threesome, Mario and co. then suddenly find that the Megabug had merged with Bowser to form MegaDragonBowser. After defeating MegaDragonBowser, the Megabug is subsequently defeated, thus restoring peace to the Mushroom Kingdom. After that, they teleport back to the Mushroom Kingdom, along with a new Rabbid Peach statue. Rabbid Peach then takes a selfie with the friends, and they all live happily ever after.

Lava Queen

The Lava Queen is a notable enemy in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. She is fought in the Lava Pits alongside Bwario and Bwaluigi. She appears similar to a Valkyrie Rabbid, but with golden armor, purple hair, and elaborate horns on her helmet that glow a similar color to her eyes.

The Lava Queen was apparently summoned by the MegaBug to stop the heroes's advance, as it is shown dropping a red orb (similar to the ones that summoned Bwario and Bwaluigi) further into the Pits as it flies away with Spawny. She appears in person when Bwario and Bwaluigi appear for a rematch, sneaking up behind Mario and giving him a surprise hug and kiss. After being defeated, she blows Mario a kiss before running off with the other villains.

The Lava Queen behaves much like a Valkyrie in battle, with a similar gatling attack (that can inflict Vampire on its targets) and the ability to create shockwaves if she performs a Team Jump. However, instead of protecting her allies with shields, she can scream to force the player characters away from her. In addition to Bwario and Bwaluigi, she is supported by Lava versions of a Ziggy, a Hopper, a Buckler, and a Supporter - all seven enemies must be defeated to claim victory.

Luigi

Luigi is one of the playable characters in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. In the game, Luigi teams up with Mario, Rabbid Peach, Rabbid Luigi, Rabbid Mario, Peach, Rabbid Yoshi and Yoshi to save the Mushroom Kingdom from the mischievous Rabbids.

Luigi is first found in the jungles of the Ancient Gardens, where he and Spawny accidentally wake up a Piranha Plant with a Rabbid on it, scaring Luigi away while also causing Spawny to get scared and fuse the two together, creating the Pirabbid Plant. Luigi will be unlocked as a playable hero after the battle with the Pirabbid Plant.

In-game, he is described as a Scout, having the best movement capabilities of any hero in the game as well as good offense, however has very bad defense as Luigi has the lowest HP of any hero in the game by far. Because of this, Luigi is best suited at the back lines of battle hitting enemies at very long range like a sniper. His primary weapon is Precision, having very large damage at long range, and his secondary weapon is a Sentry, allowing Luigi to send an explosive sentry into the heat of battle while Luigi stays at the back lines.

Unlike other heroes, Luigi also has the ability to Team Jump twice with two heroes in a row, increasing his movement capabilities by far. His special abilities include Steely Stare, allowing Luigi to attack an enemy who moves during their turn or on account of a forced-movement ability if they are in Luigi's range, and Itchy Feet, which increases the maximum movement range of all heroes in his range, including himself. His Steely Stare can also be used with forced movement abilities( e.g. Rabbid Yoshi's Scaredy Rabbid ability) and/or his brother's M-Power ability to deal extra damage and lure enemies out of cover(especially if Luigi is on higher ground) and his Steely Stare can also be used with weapons that have a high chance of inflicting Burn, Push, or Bounce because they can also force enemies to move.

Trivia

*The first Precision weapon Luigi has is called the Suction Destruction, which is modeled after the Poltergust 5000.
**Another one of them is called the HMS Let's-A-Go, which is a reference to the signature catchphrase of Mario and Luigi.

* While using the Sentry without cover, Luigi will do the infamous "Dab" after launching the Sentry.

Mario

Mario is one of the eight playable characters in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, and is one of the three starting characters in the game, alongside Rabbid Peach and Rabbid Luigi. In the game, Mario teams up with Rabbid Peach, Rabbid Luigi, Luigi, Rabbid Mario, Peach, Rabbid Yoshi and Yoshi to save the Mushroom Kingdom from the mischievous Rabbids.

Mario is described as a Team Fighter, being an all-around hero with good offense, defense and mobility. Unlike all other heroes, Mario cannot be swapped out from the team for another hero, meaning that Mario will always be a member of your team, which is good due to his all-around play style. His primary weapon is a Blaster, which has decent damage and range, however is mainly good at close and mid-ranges, and his secondary weapon is Melee, allowing Mario to hit nearby enemies with his Hammer for huge damage. Unlike other heroes, Mario has the ability to 'Stomp Jump' enemies by Team Jumping off an ally, then stomping on an enemy to deal extra damage to them. His special abilities include Hero Sight, allowing Mario to attack an enemy on their turn if they move out of cover and if they are in Mario's range, and M-Power, allowing Mario to give a 50% damage boost to all heroes in his range, including himself. His M-power can be used with his Rabbid counterpart's Boom Dash to increase damage towards enemies and Mario's Hero Sight can be used with forced movement abilities(e.g. Rabbid Yoshi's Scaredy Rabbid). His M-power can also be used with Yoshi's Super Chance to deal even more weapon damage. His Stomp jump can also be used with his M-power ability to deal even more movement damage.

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is a role-playing crossover title between the Mario franchise and Ubisoft's Raving Rabbids titles released for the Nintendo Switch, as well as being the first and only turn-based tactics game in the Mario franchise. Ubisoft released the game in North America, Europe, and Oceania on August 29, 2017, and in Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan on January 18, 2018, published by Nintendo themselves.
Story
The Rabbids end up with their Time Washing Machine in the laboratory of a Mario fan (Genius Girl) who is perfecting, along with her robot assistant Beep-0, a visor able to fuse two objects into one, called the SupaMerge. One Rabbid finds said visor and uses it to create Rabbid Peach, Rabbid Mario, and other Rabbids fused with objects. It also causes the Time Washing Machine to malfunction, sending Beep-0 and the Rabbids to the Mushroom Kingdom.

Meanwhile, Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Yoshi, Toad and Toadette are inaugurating a new Princess Peach statue with an audience of Toads. Suddenly, a vortex is formed and sucks Mario and the others in.

In midair over the Ancient Gardens, Beep-0 gains rabbit ears and the outline of two rabbit's teeth on the front. The Rabbid with the SupaMerge fuses with the headset, causing it to be stuck to him. Mario later saves Beep-0 from being crushed by the Time Washing Machine. Upon landing, they soon encounter Rabbid Peach and Rabbid Luigi, who join Mario's team and help them fight off various Ziggies, thanks to weapons attached to a message sent by a mysterious F.B. As they travel, they get a glimpse of the vortex, later referred to as the Megabug.

Soon after, they meet Luigi and the Rabbid with the SupaMerge headset. They are both scared by a Piranha Plant with which a white Rabbid is playing. Due to the fear, the SupaMerge Rabbid ends up fusing the white Rabbid with the Piranha Plant, creating the Pirabbid Plant. Mario's team successfully defeats the Plant and restore both the Piranha Plant and the white Rabbid to their original selves. Seeing this, Luigi joins their team. Meanwhile, Beep-0 notices that the Megabug has grown in size.

Bowser Jr. has observed what happened with the Pirabbid Plant and, when Mario's team meet the Rabbid with the headset and scares him, takes the chance to befriend him, naming him Spawny. With the intent of using Spawny's powers to take over the Mushroom Kingdom while his father is on vacation, Junior flies away with him on his Junior Clown Car, while Mario's team must face Rabbid Kong. They defeat Rabbid Kong, causing it to fall off of the platform they are standing on.

Mario's team then venture to Sherbet Desert, where thanks to a message from F.B. they discover that the Megabug is growing with every enemy Rabbid defeated. They also find Rabbid Mario frozen in an ice cube. They take him with them, and place the cube in a door in the hopes of freeing him. Said door opens, and they soon encounter Bowser Jr. with Spawny again. Bowser Jr. has Spawny look at Mario's team, which agitates the Rabbid, activating the SupaMerge's powers. Just before it activates, Bowser Jr. turns Spawny away, causing him to create Blizzy and Sandy, who proceed to attack Mario's team. Mario's team defeat both of them and save Rabbid Mario, who joins them. At the end of the desert, Mario's team face off against the Icicle Golem, who freezes them. However, Princess Peach appears and saves them, joining Mario's team in their fight against the monster. They eventually prevail.

Mario's team then go to Spooky Trails. They are directed to find two Relics of Goodness, a gramophone and a Boo-shaped balloon, under the instruction of a mysterious third party who wants them to wake up a being named "Tom Phan" who they claim has the power to defeat Bowser Jr.. After finding the relics, they discover through a message from the mysterious helper that they need a full moon. While finding a way to bring the full moon back, they come across Calavera, who is holding Rabbid Yoshi hostage. Mario's team defeat Calavera and are subsequently joined by Rabbid Yoshi. They then find a clock tower, by manipulating the clock they manage to get the full moon back and they get an invite to cross the now opened Moon Gate from the helper. They later find out that it is actually Bowser Jr. himself, who confronts them in a theater. Bowser Jr. scares Spawny, causing him to fuse a Rabbid with the Relics of Goodness to create the Phantom. The Phantom sings a pre-battle song and is eventually defeated.

Later, they go to the Lava Pits, a volcano which has been transformed into a factory by Bowser Jr.. Here, they battle Junior in his Mecha Jr. After this battle, Spawny seemingly falls to his doom as Bowser Jr. escapes. However, he is saved by Yoshi, who subsequently joins Mario's team. It is only after this battle that Spawny seems regretful for all the trouble he has caused. After returning Spawny to safety, Mario's team attempt to leave via a crystal mine. However, Spawny is attracted to the Megabug which has grown strong enough to obtain a physical, phoenix-like form. The Megabug absorbs Spawny before heading in the direction of Bowser's Castle. Bowser Jr. returns to tell off Mario's team for allowing Spawny to get kidnapped and the Megabug to escape, noting that at least his father is still away. However, he gets a text message from his father who has decided to return home early. Realizing that his father is in danger, Bowser Jr. flies off to Bowser's Castle while Mario's team chases after. On the way, they encounter two villainous Rabbids resembling Wario and Waluigi, named Bwario and Bwaluigi respectively. They are defeated by Mario's group. Upon their arrival to Bowser's Castle, Bowser Jr. requests them to help Bowser return to his normal self, as he is barely conscious and near the Megabug. The latter fuses with Bowser, creating MegaDragonBowser. In this form, Bowser is defeated, freeing the Megabug that tries to attack Mario's team. Said team attacks the Megabug, destroying it and seemingly closing the rift while also freeing Spawny. Bowser Jr. takes Spawny back to the team and thanks them for what they have done, while also promising to be somewhat better. Fearing being chastised by his father, he tries to convince them to speak to Bowser on his behalf, but Mario's team return to Princess Peach's Castle to tell that the threat is no more, while also inaugurating a new statue of Rabbid Peach. Rabbid Peach then takes a selfie with the group. After this, Beep-0 sends a letter to his past self with weapons through the Time Washing Machine, revealing that F.B. is actually Future Beep-0.
Gameplay
The game is estimated to be composed of 35% exploration elements and 65% turn-based combat. In the exploration phase, the player can control Beep-0 and Mario, as well as the two other allies in their team, and move them around the world openly. The player can find and open treasure chests containing items like Power Orbs and collectibles such as artwork, 3D models, soundtracks, and 'tarots'. The player can also wander around battlefields that they have already battled on during combat. There can also be several challenging puzzles around the world, which can open pathways leading to new areas, pipes, or treasure chests.

In the combat phase, the player can use their allies in three ways: movement, attacks, and techniques. Movement allows the player to move a selected ally to a selected location, like behind cover. Attacks allow the selected ally to attack a selected enemy if they are within their range. It can also be hard to hit enemies if they are behind cover, as the chance of hitting them can be either 50% (if hiding behind partial cover) or 0% (if hiding behind full cover or a shield). Lastly, techniques allow the selected ally to trigger certain powerful abilities which can aid them during combat, such as hitting enemies during their turn or providing shields to allies. All techniques have a turn cooldown in which they cannot be used again for a certain number of turns.

Also, during the combat phase, certain weapons have certain Super Effects that they can give to enemies: Honey, Ink, Freeze, Burn, Bounce, Push, Stone, and Vampire. Honey prevents a fighter from moving for one turn, Ink prevents a fighter from attacking for one turn, Freeze prevents a fighter from using techniques for one turn, Burn makes fighters infilicted by it run randomly out into the open, Bounce makes fighters inflicted by it bounce backwards and even out of bounds, Push makes fighters inflicted by it get pushed backwards and even out of bounds, Stone prevents a fighter from doing anything for one turn, and Vampire makes fighters heal themselves for half of however much damage they deal to a fighter inflicted by it.

Also during battle, players have the ability to use a 'Tacticam', which allows the player to get an aerial view of the battlefield to plan their attack, as well as view the enemies on the battlefield and also their stats. The combat is also turn-based, meaning that turns between the player, or the 'Heroes', and the 'Enemies', who are all also able to move, attack and use techniques. The player can also make allies perform 'Team Jumps' with other allies to move an even further distance, as well as perform a 'Dash' into an enemy to deal additional damage to them.

There are three types of battles: 'Defeat All' battles, 'Reach Area(s)' battles, and 'Escort ...' battles. 'Defeat All' battles require the player to defeat every enemy on the battlefield in order to beat the mission. 'Reach Area(s)' battles require at least one hero to reach a certain area on the map in order to beat the mission, no matter how many enemies they defeat, and 'Escort ...' battles require the player to escort a secondary hero (either Toad, Toadette, or Spawny) to a highlighted area of the map, however the secondary hero can only move, not attack or use techniques.

Outside of battle, there is a 'Battle HQ', where the player can change the allies on their team, buy and equip new and different weapons for each hero, and also access the player's 'Skill Tree', where they can upgrade the different heroes' movement abilities, ways to attack and techniques using the Power Orbs they have collected.
Heroes
There are a total of eight different heroes in the game, three of which are unlocked at the start of the game (Mario, Rabbid Luigi and Rabbid Peach), while the other five are unlocked as the story progresses.

Mecha Jr.

Mecha Jr. is the midboss of the Lava Pits in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. As its name suggests, it is a mecha operated by Bowser Jr., resembling a large robotic Rabbid. It has long, relatively thin limbs supporting its cylindrical body; the feet have rocket boosters and the arms end in pincers. It is armed with a massive hammer with a head resembling a cow. It also has a compartment in its chest, used to store Spawny and deploy mobile bombs during the battle.

Mecha Jr.'s behavior is similar to that of a Smasher; it charges at the heroes in an attempt to smash them with its hammer, which can inflict Burn on contact in addition to massive damage. Like a Smasher, it moves prematurely towards its attacker when attacked at range; unlike a Smasher, it is immune to movement-based attacks such as Dashes and Team Jumps. It has two additional abilities: a variation of Magnet Dance to draw characters towards it, and mobile bombs (similar to Luigi and Rabbid Peach's secondary weapons) that also head towards the heroes; if set off, they inflict high damage with a chance of Bounce effects.

A pair of Lava Valkyries are present to support Mecha Jr.

When Mecha Jr. is defeated, it malfunctions and bops itself on the "head" with its own hammer. Bowser Jr. narrowly escapes his mech's destruction, but drops Spawny in the process as he flees from the heroes. Luckily, Yoshi rescues Spawny, and both join the group.

MegaDragonBowser

MegaDragonBowser is the end boss of the Lava Pits in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, and the final boss in the game. As his name suggests, he is Bowser consumed by the Megabug.
MegaDragonBowser largely resembles Bowser's regular form, with the addition of the Megabug's wings, tail, and orange circuitry patterns on his shell and limbs.
Battle
The fight with MegaDragonBowser takes place on a large platform high above a pit of lava. Blocks are scattered around the area to act as cover; most are Giant Brick Blocks, but several indestructible metal blocks are arranged in a large ring near the edges of the floor.

Initially, MegaDragonBowser stands at the center of the arena, supported by four Lava Valkyries. He follows a set pattern of actions during this phase:
*Taking flight and attacking one character with a stream of small fireballs from his hand, similar to a Rumblebang; these shots can destroy Giant Brick Blocks and inflict the Burn status.
*Activating a line-of-sight technique that allows him to shoot a character if they move between his turns.
*Drawing characters towards him, similar to Rabbid Mario's Magnet Dance.
*Slamming onto the ground, creating a shockwave that damages and blows back anyone in range. Destroys Giant Brick Blocks in range as well.

Once his HP is depleted, MegaDragonBowser heals back to full before flying out of the arena - he can be attacked with line-of-sight abilities at this time. He immediately bombards the battlefield with fireballs, inflicting 20 HP damage and a Burn on any characters in their path and leaving scorched craters where they land. After summoning four Lava Bucklers near the middle of the arena, he will spend the rest of this phase flying around the sides of the battlefield and raining fireballs on the craters, as well as using a Protection technique to reduce damage to his minions by taking a fraction of the damage himself. The heroes must attack MegaDragonBowser to deplete his HP again, but dealing with the Bucklers first is highly advised.

After regenerating his HP once more, MegaDragonBowser returns to the arena (being once again vulnerable to line-of-sight attacks while he moves) and uses his melee smash on the center as he lands. As four Lava Smashers spawn around him, he now attacks with Whirling Fortress and shields himself on the heroes' turn. To harm the boss, the heroes must lure him into spinning at the metal blocks around the arena - impact with a block will shatter it and stun MegaDragonBowser for a turn.

When MegaDragonBowser's HP is depleted for the third time, the Megabug separates from Bowser and attempts to attack the heroes. However, they respond with a combined attack that destroys the Megabug for good, breaking its control over the warped Mushroom Kingdom.

On the Bubble

On the Bubble is the sixth level of Ancient Gardens in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle.
Layout
The first part of the level is split into two segments: one features two Ziggies behind partial cover, and the other features three Ziggies behind full cover and a Hopper behind partial cover. Both segments are connected via a pipe.

The next part of the level introduces Chain Chomps as a stage hazard, and one particular Chain Chomp is stationed in the center, surrounded by a few Ziggies and Hoppers behind partial cover.

Peach

Peach is one of the eight playable character in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. In the game, Peach teams up with Mario, Rabbid Peach, Rabbid Luigi, Luigi, Rabbid Mario, Rabbid Yoshi and Yoshi to save the Mushroom Kingdom from the mischievous Rabbids.

Peach is first found in front of her castle, standing outside the front entrance and will talk to the team when approached. However, Peach makes her first playable debut against the Icicle Golem after thawing Mario and one of his teammates, making Peach replace the third teammate. Peach is then unlocked as a playable hero after defeating the Icicle Golem.

In-game, Peach is described as a Paladin, with decent offense and mobility and very good defense, as Peach has the highest HP out of any hero in the game by far, making her a good tank. Her primary weapon is a Boomshot, allowing her to deal large damage to multiple enemies (and allies) at close range, and her secondary weapon is a Grenaduck, allowing her to throw a duck grenade to deal area-of-effect damage to multiple enemies either at long range or if they are behind cover and you can't shoot them. Peach also has the ability to perform a 'Healing Jump' instead of a regular Team Jump, which makes Peach heal herself and all allies around her for a small amount of their HP when she lands. Her special abilities include Royal Gaze, which allows Peach to attack an enemy who moves either during their turn or due to a forced-movement ability(such as Rabbid Mario's Magnet Dance), and Protection, which allows Peach to make all nearby allies take reduced damage for one turn. Her Protection ability can be used with either her Rabbid counterpart's Shield ability, Rabbid Luigi's Super Barrier( or his Weaken ability, which reduces the damage output of all enemies in his range), Rabbid Mario's Bodyguard ability( which reduces any movement-based damage he takes), or Rabbid Yoshi's Outer Shell ability, making her secondary ability the most useful.

Peek-a-Boo

Peek-a-Boos are Rabbid enemies in Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle. They are enemies capable of teleporting to certain parts of the battlefield, thus evading normal "line of sight" techniques. They can also lure characters towards them and out of cover.
Variants
There are two Peek-a-Boo variants, one for each area apart from Ancient Gardens and Sherbet Desert.
*Spooky Peek-a-Boo: Encountered in Spooky Trails, this 180 HP Peek-a-Boo appears to be undead, with a pale body, glowing blue eyes, and black accessories.
*Lava Peek-a-Boo: The other Peek-a-Boo variant is encountered in the Lava Pits, with glowing orange eyes, a magma-like appearance, and 270 HP.

Phantom

Phantom, referred to by his song's title as Phantom of the Bwahpera, and also known by the anagram Tom Phan, is the end boss of Spooky Trails in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. He is a levitating, heavyset Rabbid ghost with an Enlightenment-style attire and a Boo-like underside that occasionally turns transparent, revealing a phonograph inside. His name is also a pun on the Phantom of the Opera.

He is created when Spawny combines a Rabbid, an inflatable rubber Boo, and a phonograph. His voice is provided by Augustin Chemelle. As per his name and theme, he sings a song for Mario and company before engaging in battle. The song is heard as part of the game's second trailer. hims the only Rabbid in game to communicate in a human language, instead of grunting and screaming. However, his song starts with several uses of the "Bwaah" sound, but in his own voice. He also makes these sounds throughout the battle itself.
Battle
In battle, the Phantom is initially immune to all attacks. To be able to damage him, Mario and co. must destroy the light fixtures beside him, disabling the spotlights focused on him; the Phantom becomes vulnerable once all active light fixtures are smashed. Each phase of the battle has one more light fixture to smash than the last, as well as giving the boss new Rabbid minions at the end of his first turn; Valkyries, Bucklers, and Peek-a-Boos. His main attack is a powerful operatic scream that acts like a rocket launcher weapon; it hits everyone within a radius for 40 HP and pushes them back. He can also activate a ghostly shield around him; the first hero to move within range becomes petrified, unable to take further action for their turn.

When defeated, the Phantom will throw a melodramatic, sobbing tantrum.
