Pirabbid Plant

The Pirabbid Plant is the midboss of Ancient Gardens in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. As its name suggests, it is a hybrid of a Rabbid and a Piranha Plant; however, it resembles Petey Piranha more than it does the regular Piranha Plant.

The Pirabbid Plant came into existence when Luigi and Spawny startled a sleeping Piranha Plant, which happened to have a Rabbid sleeping on top of it as well. Frightened by the creature, Spawny's powers activated, and he shot a laser beam from his eyes that fused the Rabbid and Piranha Plant together, creating the Pirabbid Plant, which subsequently fought Mario, Rabbid Peach, and Rabbid Luigi.

His main attack involves him shooting a fireball at the targeted character. It can inflict the Burn status if a direct hit is scored. Some challenges in Ancient Gardens involve combat against more than one Pirabbid Plant.

Precarious Pillar

Precarious Pillar is the eighth level of Ancient Gardens in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle.
Layout
The first part of the level features three different elevations, along with two Ziggies and Hoppers each. All are behind partial cover except for the isolated Ziggy, who is behind full cover instead.

The next part of the level features a more linear map, with two Smashers behind partial cover and two Hoppers behind full cover.

The last part of the level features a Chain Chomp on lower ground surrounded by Smashers, though they keep reappearing. Mario and co. must take out four of them to clear the stage.

Rabbid Kong

Rabbid Kong is a massive, ape-like Rabbid that appears as the end boss of Ancient Gardens in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. As his name implies, he is heavily based on Donkey Kong, right down to wearing his signature necktie. He is created by Spawny after Bowser Jr. convinces him to join him, and is subsequently fought by Mario and his friends.

Rabbid Kong's only damaging move is creating a shock wave on the battlefield that deducts 10 HP from each heroic character, and the move also knocks them back unless they have full cover. To damage him, one of the characters must approach him, which will cause the pressure plate in front of him to drop his banana hoard and go ballistic as a result, making him an easier target - however, he will also hit the nearest character with a much stronger attack. When his HP is depleted, Rabbid Kong will move to another portion of the battlefield and replenish himself with a fresh banana hoard, repeating the process. He is defeated after the third phase.

When defeated, Rabbid Kong attempts to make his last stand by standing atop a wobbly block tower; however, Rabbid Peach humorously knocks it over, causing Rabbid Kong to plummet down to his defeat, after being in a selfie with Rabbid Peach.

Rabbid Luigi

Rabbid Luigiis a Rabbid dressed as Luigi, and one of the eight playable characters in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. He is also one of the three starting characters in the game, alongside Mario and Rabbid Peach. He was created when Spawny used the SupaMerge to fuse a Rabbid with a collectible Luigi cap, although this is done offscreen. In the game, Rabbid Luigi teams up with Mario, Rabbid Peach, Luigi, Rabbid Mario, Peach, Rabbid Yoshi and Yoshi to save the Mushroom Kingdom from the mischievous Rabbids.

In-game, Rabbid Luigi is described as a Wizard, with great defense and decent offense and mobility. Unlike other heroes, Rabbid Luigi is more of a supportive hero, as his primary weapon is a Bworb, a unique weapon to Rabbid Luigi and does low weapon damage ( Unless it's boosted with Mario's M-power) at long range. Better versions of the Bworb eventually give a 100% chance to inflict a Super Effect on enemies (either Stone, Burn, Push, or Vamp for Rabbid Luigi), while other weapons don't. His secondary weapon is a Rocket, allowing Rabbid Luigi to do large area-of-effect damage to multiple enemies, while also potentially destroying their cover, letting Rabbid Luigi's teammates take them out while increasing his supportive capabilities.

Also unlike other heroes, Rabbid Luigi has the ability to perform a 'Vamp Dash' instead of a regular Dash, which allows Rabbid Luigi to inflict any enemy he Dashes into with the Vamp effect, allowing his teammates and himself to heal themselves by damaging that enemy. His special abilities include Super Barrier, which causes Rabbid Luigi to become immune to all Super Effects for one turn, and Weaken, which reduces the damage output of all enemies in Rabbid's Luigi's range for one turn when used. Both his Super Barrier and his Weaken ability can be used in tandem with Princess Peach's Protection ability to reduce the damage output from all enemies( regardless of range) greatly.

Rabbid Mario

Rabbid Mario is a Rabbid dressed as Mario, and one of the eight playable characters in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. He was created when Spawny used the SupaMerge to fuse a Rabbid with a collectible Mario cap. In the game, Rabbid Mario teams up with Mario, Rabbid Peach, Rabbid Luigi, Luigi, Peach, Rabbid Yoshi and Yoshi to save the Mushroom Kingdom from the mischievous Rabbids.

Rabbid Mario is first found frozen in a block of ice in Sherbet Desert, where Toad finds him. After helping Toad get back to the center of Sherbet Desert, he uses the frozen Rabbid Mario to open a locked door, which leads to a battle with Blizzy & Sandy. Rabbid Mario falls out of the door and thaws when the battle is complete, joining the crew on their adventure.

In-game, Rabbid Mario is described as a Brawler, having high offense and mobility, but poor defense. Overall, Rabbid Mario is a very close-range fighter, as his primary weapon is a Boomshot, which deals huge damage to both enemies and allies at close range, and his secondary weapon is Melee, allowing Rabbid Mario to deal huge damage to nearby enemies with his Hammer. Unlike other heroes, Rabbid Mario has the ability to perform a 'Boom Dash', allowing Rabbid Mario to create a large area-of-effect explosion when he Dashes into an enemy, dealing large damage to all enemies and allies in the blast. His special abilities include Bodyguard, which makes Rabbid Mario take reduced damage against movement-based attacks (e.g. Dash attacks), and Magnet Dance, which forces all enemies in range to get closer to Rabbid Mario.

His Bodyguard ability can be used in conjunction with either Rabbid Luigi's Weaken ability or Princess Peach's Protection ability to decrease the damage Rabbid Mario takes from both weapon-based attacks and movement-based damage. His Magnet Dance can also be used in conjunction with " line-of-sight techniques." and his Boom Dash can also be used in conjunction with Mario's M-power to increase the damage of the said dash.

Rabbid Peach

Rabbid Peach is a Rabbid dressed as Peach, and one of the eight heroes in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. She was created when Spawny used the SupaMerge to fuse a Rabbid with a Princess Peach wig. She is also one of the three starting characters in the game, alongside Mario and Rabbid Luigi. In the game, Rabbid Peach teams up with Mario, Rabbid Luigi, Luigi, Rabbid Mario, Peach, Rabbid Yoshi and Yoshi to save the Mushroom Kingdom from the mischievous Rabbids.

In-game, Rabbid Peach is described as a Healer, with great defense and decent offense and mobility, but Rabbid Peach shines in healing her teammates and attacking enemies from afar. Her primary weapon is a Blaster, which deals good damage at mid-range, and her secondary weapon is a Sentry, which allows her to send an explosive sentry out into battle to deal with groups of enemies while she stays behind and heals her teammates or supports them. She also has a Stylish Dash, which allows her to Dash into two enemies in succession, however this can be upgraded to have even more Dashes available. Her special abilities include Shield, which makes Rabbid Peach take reduced damage for one turn, and Heal, which makes Rabbid Peach heal herself and all allies in her range for a certain amount of HP when used. Her Shield ability can be used with Princess Peach's Protection ability to reduce damage even further but it won't protect her from Super Effects.

Rabbid Yoshi

Rabbid Yoshi is a Rabbid dressed as Yoshi, and one of the eight playable characters in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. He was created when Spawny used the SupaMerge to fuse a Rabbid with an unspecified Yoshi collectible item. In the game, Rabbid Yoshi teams up with Mario, Rabbid Peach, Rabbid Luigi, Luigi, Rabbid Mario, Peach and Yoshi to save the Mushroom Kingdom from the mischievous Rabbids.

Rabbid Yoshi is first found in the center square of Spooky Trails, where he is being held hostage by Calavera, who uses Rabbid Yoshi as a weapon. Once Calavera is defeated, Rabbid Yoshi escapes from his clutches and shoots him repeatedly as he falls down a well, and then joins the crew on their adventure.

In-game, Rabbid Yoshi is described as a Boomboomer, as he has all-around offense, defense and mobility, however Rabbid Yoshi specializes in doing large damage to enemies at long range. His primary weapon is a Rumblebang, allowing Rabbid Yoshi to deal large amounts of damage at any range, but mainly long range, and his secondary weapon is a Grenaduck, allowing Rabbid Yoshi to deal large area-of-effect damage to enemies who are hiding behind cover or a shield.

Rabbid Yoshi's unique ability is that he has a Triple Dash when he is unlocked, allowing him to Dash three enemies in succession, however this can be upgraded to have five at once, giving Rabbid Yoshi the most amount of Dashes in the game, however Rabbid Yoshi does deal the least Dash damage in the game, making Rabbid Yoshi good for dealing small amounts of damage to multiple enemies so his teammates can finish them off( unless his ultra Dash is boosted with Mario's M-power).

His special abilities include Outer Shell, which makes Rabbid Yoshi almost immune to damage for one turn (however this can be upgraded so Rabbid Yoshi takes no damage when using this), and Scaredy Rabbid, which makes Rabbid Yoshi scare nearby enemies and make them run away from him. His Scaredy Rabbid ability( as well as other forced movement abilities) can also be used with " line of sight techniques" to give nearby enemies a little extra damage. His Outer Shell ability can also be used with Princess Peach's Protection ability to reduce damage taken from enemies.

Sandy

Sandy is one of two midbosses of Sherbet Desert in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. As her name suggests, she is a Rabbid fused with a dust tornado. She is fought alongside her weaker ally, Blizzy.

Sandy's only actual damaging attack consists of throwing bombs, which destroy Giant Brick Blocks and inflict the Burn status on characters closest to the explosion. She can also summon a protective shield which must be destroyed before she can be attacked. If Blizzy is defeated, Sandy will continue fighting until she is defeated.

Sherbet Desert

Sherbet Desert is the second world in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. It is a desert and snow area located to the west of Ancient Gardens and to the east of Spooky Trails, consisting of many canyons, snowdrifts, frozen Bloopers, and an icy summit.
History
Mario and co. first land in Sherbet Desert while pursuing Bowser Jr . and Spawny. After a brief run-in with Bowser Jr., Mario and co. happen to meet up with Toad, whom they escort to Toadette. Mario and co. then fights Blizzy and Sandy, and Rabbid Mario joins shortly thereafter. Venturing into the summit, they encounter a refridgerator, which Spawny uses the SupaMerge on to form the Icicle Golem. Princess Peach joins immediately thereafter. After defeating Icicle Golem, Beep-0 reports that Bowser Jr. had fled to Spooky Trails, thus revealing their next destination.

Smasher

Smashers are Rabbid enemies appearing in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. Hence their name, they carry large slabs which they use to attack characters. They have very limited movement, but can prematurely move towards any character that attacks them, even counterattacking if they reach said character. Additionally, all variants except the Garden Smasher are capable of using a technique that boosts the attack power of itself and other enemies close to it.
Variants
There are four Smasher variants, one for each area.
*Garden Smasher: Encountered in Ancient Gardens, this Smasher variant carries a purple block and has 150 HP.
*Sherbet Smasher: Encountered in Sherbet Desert, this Smasher variant carries an ice slab and has 225 HP.
*Spooky Smasher: Encountered in Spooky Trails, this 340 HP Smasher appears to be undead, with a pale body and glowing blue eyes, in addition to carrying a portable piano.
*Lava Smasher: The final Smasher variant is encountered in the Lava Pits, with a charred appearance, glowing orange eyes, a portable furnace for a smashing block, and 510 HP.
*Tropical Smasher: This Smasher variant is encountered in the Donkey Kong Adventure DLC. It has a tiki mask with red leaves, a golden pendant, an ancient pillar for a smashing block, and has 180 HP. Unlike other variants, this Smasher weakens foes, rather than powering themselves up.
*Smuggler: The unique Smasher variant that carried a crate of Bad Bananas. They have half the chase range (2 cells) which can lead them to not having a great movement range, but can prematurely move towards any character that attacks them, even counterattacking if they reach said character, identical to Smashers. In the levels they appear in, Donkey Kong and co. must stop them before they reach the areas shaded in blue.

Spawny

Spawny is a Rabbid that appears in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. In the Mushroom Kingdom, he is differentiated from other Rabbids by his white muzzle, blue belly, and ears, the fused SupaMerge headset that covers his eyes, and the on/off button on his lower back. His ability is to fuse other beings with Rabbids, doing so to create the Pirabbid Plant; however, said power is uncontrollable, and activates whenever he's stressed.
His name was given to him by Bowser Jr., who sought to use his powers to take over the Mushroom Kingdom. Although he is a major catalyst for the events of the game and forms an alliance with Bowser Jr., it is unknown if Spawny is evil.
History
Spawny started out as an ordinary Rabbid, but when he and many other Rabbids were transported to an unspecified location, Spawny stole the SupaMerge and used it to fuse other Rabbids with objects, doing so to create Rabbid Peach and Rabbid Mario. When Spawny enters the Mushroom Kingdom, the SupaMerge ends up meshing with him, turning him into what he looks like throughout the game.
Beep-0 informs Mario that the SupaMerge had been corrupted upon entering the Mushroom Kingdom, and he agrees to find Spawny. However, just as Mario and co. were about to catch Spawny on a tower overlooking Ancient Gardens, Bowser Jr. appeared and befriended Spawny. Mario and co. traversed the other three worlds and eventually defeated Bowser Jr. in his mech, Mecha Jr., retrieving Spawny in the process. However, the portal over the Mushroom Kingdom released a dragon named the Megabug, which captured Spawny and harnessed his power to unleash more beings. Mario and co. ended up defeating the Megabug and freeing Spawny and Bowser (who had also been corrupted by the Megabug). Spawny is then seen in the pre-credits scene, where he admires the statue erected in honour of Rabbid Peach.
Personality
When he was still a regular Rabbid, Spawny was mischievous, curious, and playful like his fellow Rabbids, while always causing trouble without thinking about the consequences. After his transformation, Spawny became timid, naïve, and childlike. This causes Bowser Jr. to take advantage of him, bullying him into using his abilities. Because his power comes from fear and stress, Spawny has little to no control of his abilities.

Spooky Trails

Spooky Trails is the third world in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. It is a haunted area located to the west of Sherbet Desert and to the east of the Lava Pits, consisting of many gates, moving vines, ensnared Boos, and a clock tower.
History
Mario and co. first land in Spooky Trails while pursuing Bowser Jr. and Spawny and searching for the Relics of Goodness to open the Moon Gate and awaken "Tom Phan". Along the way, Mario and co. happen to meet up with Toadette, whom they escort to Toad, and use the collected relics to open another gate. Mario and co. then fight Calavera and free Rabbid Yoshi, who joins shortly thereafter. Venturing into the deeper part of the woods, they encounter a clock tower, which they use to reverse the Moon's orbit and open the Moon Gate. Mario and co. then suddenly find that they had been decieved by Bowser Jr., and Spawny uses the SupaMerge on the Relics of Goodness and a Rabbid to form the Phantom. After defeating the Phantom, Beep-0 reports that Bowser Jr. had fled to the Lava Pits, thus revealing their final destination.

SupaMerge

The SupaMerge is an object and a key part of the plot in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. It is a technological visor that has the capacity to fuse two objects into one.
The SupaMerge was created by Genius Girl and her robot assistant Beep-0 with the intent to solve an energy crisis, but had a problem with overheating. As the inventor left for a break, the Rabbids showed up in their Time Washing Machine and began wreaking havoc. One Rabbid found the device and used it to merge the Rabbids with several different objects in the room, creating Rabbid Peach and Rabbid Mario before accidentally hitting the Time Washing Machine, causing it to malfunction and transport both Beep-0 and the Rabbids to the Mushroom Kingdom.
Upon arrival, the SupaMerge fused itself with the Rabbid who was wearing it. Bowser Jr. eventually befriended the Rabbid, naming him Spawny, with the intent to use the SupaMerge to create an army to take over the Mushroom Kingdom.

Supporter

Supporters are Rabbid enemies in Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, identifiable by their backpacks topped with a red siren. As their name implies, they specialize in supporting their teammates; their main claim to fame is their ability to heal themselves and all allies within a certain range. They can also throw bombs that ignore cover bonuses, destroy Giant Brick Blocks, and have a high chance to inflict status effects on any character caught in the blast.
Variants
There are three Supporter variants, one for each area apart from Ancient Gardens.
*Sherbet Supporter: Encountered in Sherbet Desert, this Supporter has 165 HP. It wears a shell-like backpack, a furry collar, and a bodysuit resembling a cactus.
*Spooky Supporter: Encountered in Spooky Trails, this 250 HP Supporter appears to be undead, with a pale body, glowing blue eyes, and a melting candle on its head.
*Lava Supporter: The final Supporter variant is encountered in the Lava Pits, with a charred appearance, glowing orange eyes, a Bowser Jr. bandanna on its chest, and 375 HP.
While there aren't any Supporters in the Donkey Kong Adventure DLC, there is an enemy type called the Summoner that acts similarly to a Supporter, with the addition of being able to summon additional enemies, though it takes them a one-turn wait to summon enemies

The Hidden Bridge

The Hidden Bridge is the secret tenth level of Ancient Gardens in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. It can only be accessed by completing Top Banana, then returning to the Bamboo Islands and using Beep-0's Push ability to push two blocks to their respective buttons and revealing a submerged portion of bridge.
Layout
The first part of the level is divided into three levels: the lower level consists of two Ziggies behind partial cover and a Smasher out in the open, the middle level consists of a single Ziggy in the open, and the upper level consists of two Hoppers behind full metal cover.

The next part of the level features a rematch against Pirabbid Plant, who is behind metal cover and at higher ground. This map also features a few Ziggies, a handful of Smashers, and a single Hopper, most behind partial cover.

Unlikely Heroes

Unlikely Heroes is the first level of Ancient Gardens in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle.
Layout
Being the first level in the game, the first battle stage takes place in an area with three HP-padded Ziggies, and Beep-0 explains how 0% and 50% cover affect weapon ranges.
The second, more expansive stage features three more Ziggies with the normal amount of health, as well as 100% cover. It also introduces movement to the player.

Valkyrie

Valkyries are Rabbid enemies in Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle. They wear armor equipped with machine guns that destroy Giant Brick Blocks and inflict multiple hits on their targets. Like Hoppers and Supporters, they can perform Team Jumps; however, their jumps end with a Ground Pound that can damage anyone within range of their landing. They are also capable of using Protection to shield allies, reducing the damage inflicted to them by absorbing some of it themselves.
Variants
There are two Valkyrie variants, one for each area apart from Ancient Gardens and Sherbet Desert.
*Spooky Valkyrie: Encountered in Spooky Trails after defeating Calavera, this 360 HP Valkyrie appears to be undead, with a pale body, glowing blue eyes, and blue hair. Its attacks can inflict the Bounce Super Effect.
*Lava Valkyrie: The other Valkyrie variant is encountered in the Lava Pits, with a charred appearance, glowing orange eyes, red hair, and 540 HP. Its attacks can Burn opponents.

Welcome to the Jungle

Welcome to the Jungle is the fourth level of Ancient Gardens in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. The naming originates from the Guns N' Roses song of the same name.
Layout
The first part of the level introduces the ability to perform techniques, and also Super Effects, status effects as they are referred to in game. It features three Ziggies, two of them behind Super Effect cover, as well as one Hopper slightly further behind, with partial cover.

The next part of the level features a slightly thinner map and three Ziggies behind partial cover, in addition to two Hoppers further ahead, behind full cover.

Yoshi

Yoshi is one of the playable characters in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. In the game, Yoshi teams up with Mario, Rabbid Peach, Rabbid Luigi, Luigi, Rabbid Mario, Peach and Rabbid Yoshi to save the Mushroom Kingdom from the mischievous Rabbids.

Yoshi is first found in the factory part of the Lava Pits, where he manages to save Spawny from falling down a pit to his doom when Spawny falls out of Mecha Jr. after it is defeated. Because of this, Yoshi joins the crew on their adventure.

In-game, Yoshi is described as an Eggsploder, having great offense and decent defense and mobility, but Yoshi truely shines in destroying the enemies' cover with his area-of-effect abilities, allowing his teammates to attack the now vulnerable enemies.

Like Yoshi's Rabbid counterpart, his primary weapon is a Rumblebang, able to do high damage to enemies at long range, and his secondary weapon is a Rocket, able to deal large area-of-effect damage to multiple enemies at long range, as well as do large damage to their cover as well as damage nearby allies.

Unlike other heroes, Yoshi has the ability to perform a Ground Pound when he lands after performing a Team Jump, dealing large damage to nearby enemies and allies. His special abilities include Egg Beater, allowing Yoshi to attack an enemy that either moves during their turn or due to a forced movement ability, and Super Chance, which guarantees that a weapon's Super Effect will be inflicted for Yoshi and all nearby allies. His Super Chance can be used with Mario's M-Power to boost the attacks of both Yoshi, nearby allies, and Mario while increasing the chance of a weapon's Super Effect greatly. His Egg beater ability can be used with his Rabbid counterpart's Scaredy Rabbid ability because the said ability forces enemies to move away from the said rabbid character.

Ziggy

Ziggies are Rabbid enemies in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. They are the first enemies encountered in the game, and as such have basic stats. They generally aren't much of a threat compared to other enemies, but all variants except the Garden Ziggy can use a "line-of-sight" technique that allows them to hit the heroes in motion (whether moving on their turn or being forced to move by a Super Effect or special technique).
Variants
There are four Ziggy variants, one for each area. (Five if you count the Tropical Ziggy)
*Garden Ziggy: Encountered in Ancient Gardens, this Ziggy variant has a yellow mohawk, colorful stripes on its body, and 50 HP.
*Sherbert Ziggy: Encountered in Sherbet Desert, this Ziggy has 75 HP. It wears fuzzy earmuffs on its head and cactus-themed bands on its arms and waist.
*Spooky Ziggy: Encountered in Spooky Trails, this 115 HP Ziggy appears to be undead, with a pale body and glowing blue eyes. Many have tattoos or markings on the backs of their heads resembling makeup used in Day of the Dead celebrations. Its blaster has a chance of inflicting Ink.
*Lava Ziggy: The final Ziggy variant is encountered in the Lava Pits, with a charred appearance, glowing orange eyes, a Bowser Jr. bandana worn on its back, and 175 HP.
*Tropical Ziggy: This Ziggy variant is encountered in the Donkey Kong Adventure DLC. It has a long blue feather headdress, light blue face paint and 80 HP. It's Blaster is capable of triggering Freeze.
